AD HOC COMMITTEE TO ESTABLISH FRIENDS GROUP

Called to order at 4:13pm by Chairman Lane
Committee members present: Franzoi, Lane and Turner
Also present: Golz, Director Kopetsky and Business Manager Dreyer
Public Comment/Communication: None
Status of 501(c)3
Turner will contact Dan Flaherty at Godfrey & Kahn to establish a 181 nonstock corporation and start the application process for the 501(c)3. The committee would like to review the draft of the application before submitting to the IRS.
Franzoi left the meeting at 4:32pm.
Friends Board Members
Kopetsky and Dreyer will reach out to the library’s volunteers to see who would be interested in serving on the Friends Board. They will bring the names to the next committee meeting.
The next committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 28 at 4:00pm to report on the status of the 181 nonstock corporation and 501(c)3 and review the names of volunteers interested in serving on the board.
