Discussion/Action Items
1. Position and Wage Structure Changes
The proposed changes are being proposed to compensate the employees who currently work at the library and to attract new people. The changes will not increase the 2018 budget.
Motion made by Franzoi, seconded by VanderHeyden to recommend approval to the Board of Trustees the modifications in positions and wage structure according to the memo from Director Lenz dated April 20, 2018. Motion carried unanimously.
2. Personnel Policy
The committee reviewed the recommended changes to the Personnel Policy and made some additional changes including modifying full time from 37 to 37.5 hours to better reflect sick leave hours given, division of hours worked per day for full time employees as well as be consistent with the City of Menasha employees.
Motion made by VanderHeyden, seconded by Franzoi to approve the recommended changes as discussed to the Board of Trustees. Motion carried unanimously.
These changes will be presented at the May Board of Trustees meeting and go into effect in August.
