Presentation: The Formation of the Moon
Our Earth is the only inner planet with a large moon. How did it get such an object? Understanding the formation of the solar system and the properties of our Moon will help us to theorize and understand how our Moon formed. We will see that much of the knowledge we have of the Moon came from the lunar landings.
This presentation by Dr. Barton Pritzl professor at the Astronomy and Physics Department from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will help us see how unique our Moon truly is.
