The 2019 Fox Cities Book Festival begins on Monday, October 7, and runs through Sunday, October 13.

Jerry Apps (Non-Fiction, Nature)
The Civilian Conservation Corps in Wisconsin -Between 1933 and 1942, the Civilian Conservation Corps, a popular New Deal relief program, was at work across America. During the Great Depression, young men lived in rustic CCC camps planting trees, cutting trails, and reversing the effects of soil erosion. Apps will describe the CCC’s work in the Badger State, from the Northwoods to the Driftless Area.
