Chase away those winter blues by joining our Winter Reading Program: Reading is Magic.
This is a program for everyone of any age.
Kids ages 3 through those in 5th Grade: Starting January 6, read for 10-20 minutes at least three days per week and check out books at the library to get a weekly bookmark and small prize. Earn two or more bookmarks and receive a free book during the weeks of February 2-15.
Everyone past 5th Grade: Sign up at the Reference Desk. Get a BINGO card and then mark off a square for reading a book in a certain subject or genre. Enter each week to win prizes, which include great certificates to Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza, Third Street Diner, My Boondocks Café, and The Weathervane.
MANY THANKS to all of the businesses and our Friends for supporting the Winter Reading Program!
Program runs Monday, January 6 - Saturday, February 15.
