Unmapped: An Anthology is now available!
We're excited to announce that the Elisha D. Smith Public Library is teaming up with Conquer Books to publish Unmapped: An Anthology written by our own SMITHworks Writing Group.
The book features 20 stories by 13 local authors who are part of the SmithWorks Writing Group. The SmithWorks Writing Group is a part of the creative programming at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library in Menasha, Wisconsin. The group was founded in 2022 as a way for local writers to enhance their writing craft, learn about the publishing industry, and connect with other writers. The group is facilitated by Rebecca M. Zornow, a founding book coach with Conquer Books. Conquer Books transforms budding writers into dynamic writers and wild ideas into powerful books through active book coaching.
Unmapped: An Anthology is their second collection of stories. Crossing genres, open the pages to journey to an island that appears on no map, explore fantasy and ancient worlds, or even delve into unique life experiences of people from Northeast Wisconsin. Each story is a journey into undiscovered frontiers as vivid as the stars. Copies are also available on major online bookstores.
Contributors include local authors: Don Brittnacher, Sylvia Coopman, Danna Dietz, Max DeMay, Don Fahrenkrug, S.J. Heinz, K.L. Mielke, Eric Reuter, Lori O’Brien Smith, Ryan Surprise, Elizabeth Westenberger, Cynthia Seidl Witt, and Rebecca M. Zornow.
