The artist exhibiting on the library's art wall during April -- Photographer John Gremmer -- will present a selection of images that are part of his recently published book Dam Birds: Big Birds in Downtown Menasha.
The images were selected from thousands of photographs he took during the summer of 2017. Pelicans, egrets, blue herons, black-crowned night herons, cormorants, terns, ducks, geese, gulls, and eagles were all in abundance, and Mr. Gremmer's lens captured their beauty.
The evening will begin at 6:00pm with Mr. Gremmer's slide show presentation of his photographic work from last summer. Discover how the beauty of nature is always present at the iconic Menasha Dam and how he applies his expertise to capturing it. This presentation will be in the lower level Company E Room.
At 7:00pm you are invited to visit the exhibit and join a reception with music and refreshments in the library's main floor Fireside Room. The book may be available for purchase at this event.
